- In Feb of 1991 I, successfully completed my original training in massage at Lakeside School of Natural Therapeutics (now Lakeside School of Massage Therapy). The curiculum and 500 hour training program offered was the only WI school (at that time) approved by the American Massage Therapy Association, as there were no state laws governing the massage therapy profession. I chose wisely and am proud to be a graduate with that training program.
- To date, I have completed an additional 900 hours of training in a wide variety of modalities.
- My most emphasised training is Neuromuscular Massage Therapy, of which I attained certification in 1994, through the St. John Method of Neuromuscular Therapy.
- Since 2003 I have been teaching at the Milwaukee School of Massage. I teach 2 courses: a 12 hour course entitled "An Overview of Neuromuscular Therapy", and a 4 hour course called "Pelvic Stabilization".
- As of 2014 I am in my 23rd year of practice and still going strong as I continue my membership and requirements of the AMTA.
- I am now a Licensed Massage Therapist, as WI now has specific requirements for our profession. This is shortened to LMT.
